A Sufi born in 1865 in the village of Maizbhandar, Fatikchhari, popularly titled 'Baba Bhandari'. He succeeded his uncle Sayyid Ahmad Ullah, founder of the Maizbhandari order, as its head and played a major role in the order's spread. He died in 1937 and was buried at Maizbhandar among his forebears. His tomb, a distinct shrine within the Maizbhandar Darbar Sharif complex, is one of the order's central pilgrimage sites.
