Maulana Syekh Abdurrahman al-Khalidi Kumango ("Beliau Kumango," birth name Alam Basifat, d. 1932) was a major Sufi scholar based at Kumango, Batusangkar. In Medina he received ijazah in the Sammaniyah order from Sayyid Muhammad Amin ibn Ahmad Ridhwan, and back home founded Surau Subarang to teach the Sammaniyah and Naqshbandiyah-Khalidiyah paths. He is also the originator of the Sufi-infused martial art Silek Kumango. His grave near Surau Subarang is a Sufi pilgrimage site.
