Sufi and Qur'an commentator who was educated in Sivas and joined the Zeyniyya order; known as al-Ayasuluqi because he lived in Ayasuluk (Selçuk, İzmir) until the end of his life. His best-known work is Uyunü't-tefasir. He died in Selçuk in 1455-56 and was buried there; a small tomb was later built over his grave.
