A Sufi born in the Marmara district of Akhisar, founder of the Ahmadiyya (middle branch) of the Halwati order. He completed his Sufi training under the Halwati sheikh Alaeddin Ushshaki and was known by the title 'Yigitbasi'. He spent most of his life guiding his order in Manisa, wrote works in plain Turkish, and died in Manisa.
