A scholar and Sufi from İskilip, shaykh of the Bayramiyye-Şemsiyye (Tennûriyye branch), and father of Şeyhülislâm Ebüssuûd Efendi. Close to Bayezid II, he was called 'the Sultan's Shaykh' and returned to his native İskilip late in life.
