A Suhrawardi Sufi regarded as the progenitor of the Bukhari sayyids of Gujarat (d. 1452); born at Uch around 1388 (Wikipedia; Encyclopaedia of Islam). He belonged to the lineage of Makhdum-i Jahaniyan, descended from Jalaluddin Surkhposh Bukhari; he came to the court of Sultan Ahmad Shah I and settled at Vatva near Ahmedabad, where he died. He was the father of Shah Alam (d. 1475). Note: death_hijri is left null as no reliable AH year was found; the death year is given as 1452 in some sources and 1453 in others (transparency note). No dedicated TDV article exists; miracle accounts such as well-water turning to honey are hagiographic.
