A Naqshbandi-Khalidi scholar and guide, renowned especially for his mastery of Islamic jurisprudence. Born in 1910 in Arnas (Bağlarbaşı) village of Midyat, he received learning and authorization from Shaykh Sayda of Cizre (1955). He served as imam of Batman's Great Mosque and trained many students.
