Tengku Muhammad Saleh (1909–1966) was a scholar, Sharia judge and poet of the Riau-Lingga royal house, regarded as the last-generation ulama of the Riau-Lingga Kingdom. Born in Kampung Damnah, Daik, he authored Nur al-Salah (1954) on prayer and the Tajweed of al-Fatihah, still taught at the Sultan Lingga Grand Mosque. He served as a Sharia court judge in Daik during the Japanese occupation and refused posts under the Dutch. He died and was buried in Daik, Lingga; the exact grave plot is not firmly documented.
