A leading scholar and judge (kadı) of Kütahya during the Germiyanid and early Ottoman period who advised the Germiyanid rulers. His complex (mosque, tomb, zawiya, madrasa and library) is documented in the 825/1422 endowment deed; he was buried in the tomb within his own complex.
