Born in Delhi in 1321, a prominent Indian Sufi of the Chishti order. A successor of Nasiruddin Chiragh Dehlavi, he migrated in 1398 to Gulbarga at the invitation of the Bahmani sultan, promoting tolerance. He died in 1422. (Sources: TDV; Wikipedia.)
