Sayyid Ahmad al-Samarqandi was a shaykh of the Halvetiyye order who settled in Kabaklar village, Uşak. He was the master to whom Hasan Hüsameddin Uşşaki — eponym of the Uşşakî branch — was affiliated, and he also trained Shaykh Alâeddin Uşşaki (Fakir Dede).
