KH Idris (d. 1923) was the scholar who from 1878 revived the venerable Jamsaren pesantren in Solo (Surakarta). One of the first murshids of the Shadhiliyya order in Java, he taught by translating Arabic texts into Javanese Pegon; among his students were Kiai Dimyati of Termas and Arwani Amin of Kudus. His grave lies in the Makamhaji cemetery in Kartasura, Sukoharjo.
