Zâkirzâde Abdullah Efendi (d. 1067/1657) was a Jelveti sheikh known by this epithet as the son of Osman Efendi, the chief chanter (zâkirbaĹÄą) of Aziz Mahmud HĂźdâyĂŽ. After serving as a deputy in Manisa he returned to Istanbul, holding the sheikhship of the Zeyrek and KasÄąm Ăelebi lodges and preaching at the KÄąlĹç Ali PaĹa and Fatih mosques. Renowned mystics such as AtpazarĂŽ Osman FazlÄą were among his disciples. He died in 1657 and was buried near the Miskinler lodge in the Karacaahmet Cemetery of ĂskĂźdar.
