A Naqshbandi-Khalidi sheikh, Sufi and divan poet (1915-1990), the twelfth-generation descendant of Somuncu Baba (Şeyh Hamid-i Veli). He served over forty years as imam-hatib at the Şeyh Hamid-i Veli (Somuncu Baba) Mosque in Darende and founded a Qur'an school, library and foundation. Known for his Divan-ı Hulusi-i Darendevi.
