Al-Rabi ibn Khuthaym al-Kufi, of the Tabi'un, renowned for asceticism and counted among the companions of Ali; named among the eight ascetics of Kufa. His grave is in the Khwaja Rabi mausoleum north of Mashhad, completed in the Safavid era (1617) within a garden, administered by Astan Quds. (Sources: TDV; Wikidata Q5957168.)
