According to DİA he died at Fathabad near Bukhara and was buried beside the grave of his grandfather Sayf al-Din al-Bakharzi; the graves of his sons Burhan al-Din Shahid and Ruh al-Din Dawud are also there, and his mausoleum was built by Timur in 788 (1386). Died 736 H/1335.
