Khwaja Usman Harooni was the spiritual master (pir) of Muinuddin Chishti and a foundational link in the Chishti order's silsila. According to TDV, Muinuddin Chishti became his disciple in the town of Harun in the Nishapur region while travelling to Iraq. The location of his tomb is disputed in the sources; by one tradition he died and was buried at Jannat al-Mu'alla in Mecca, so no verified maqam coordinate can be given.
