Taj al-Din Ahmad ibn Ata Allah al-Iskandari, the third great master of the Shadhiliyya after al-Shadhili and al-Mursi, a Maliki jurist and author of the celebrated Hikam. He died in 709/1309 in Cairo and was buried in al-Qarafa at the foot of the Muqattam. No two independent coordinate sources were found, so location is unpinned.
