One of the earliest Chishti shaykhs in the Deccan (d. 709/1309). A disciple of Nizamuddin Awliya and brother of Burhan al-Din Gharib, he was sent to the Aurangabad region in the early 14th century and is also known as "Dulha Miyan" (Wikipedia, "Zar Zari Zar Baksh"; New Age Islam). His dargah at Khuldabad, near his brother's tomb, remains an active pilgrimage site. Note: the 709 AH date rests on a single hagiographic source, and Wikipedia's precise "15 August 1309" is unsourced and should be treated as tradition; genealogical and miracle accounts are legendary (transparency note). No dedicated TDV article exists.
