Hanafi jurist and author of al-Hidaya. He died in Dhu al-Hijja of the year 593 (October 1197) and was laid to rest in Samarkand. The source does not name the cemetery; linking him to Chakardiza is the atlas's own note. Died 593 AH/1197.
