A great master of the Khwajagan path who formulated principles later adopted by the Naqshbandiyya. Born and died in Gijduvan near Bukhara. His grave is in the complex beside the Ulugh Beg Madrasa, an active pilgrimage site. (Sources: Wikipedia; Wikidata Q1440603.)
