The greatest classical poet of the Sindhi language and a Qadiri Sufi; his mystical verse, compiled posthumously as 'Shah Jo Risalo', recasts Sindhi folk romances as Sufi allegory. He spent his later years on the hill of Bhit, where his shrine was built by the Kalhora ruler Ghulam Shah. He died 1165/1752. (Sources: Wikipedia; BhittaiPedia.)
