A scholar of sayyid lineage buried in the structure known in Develi as the 'Hızır İlyas Tomb'; per its foot-inscription he was the teacher of Seyyid Şerif and died forty-four years before him. Develi folk tradition counts him among the Khorasani saints who joined the conquest of Anatolia. His exact dates are disputed. (Sources: Ş.
