A Rufâî sheikh counted in Develi (Everek) folk tradition among the Khorasani saints who took part in the conquest of Anatolia. His tomb stands at the Tekke locality in Yukarı Develi and, per its inscription, was built in 695/1295-96 by Şeyh Muhammed in the name of the Rufâî sheikh Seyyid Şerif; tradition names him as one of four commanders alongside Dev Ali, Hızır İlyas and Şeyh Ümmî (folkloric, disputed).
