The shaykh who founded the Khalidi-Naqshbandi tradition in Melekan (Mutluca) village of the Solhan district of Bingöl, descended from the pious scholarly family of Molla Mustafa (Male Kal). He received his order's authorization from Shaykh Ali Septi and became head of the Melekan lodge after his master's death. He died around 1877 at about ninety, designating his nephew Shaykh Mahmud as successor; his tomb is in Melekan village. (Sources: M.
