Ahmed-i Sârbân (Sarban Ahmed) was a great Sufi and poet of the BayramÎ-MelâmÎ path. Born in Hayrabolu, he served as chief camel driver during Sßleyman's Iraqeyn campaign, became a disciple of PÎr Ali AksarâyÎ, and returned to Hayrabolu to guide for seventeen years.
