Müştak Baba (Şeyh Müştâk), born Mehmed Mustafa in Bitlis in 1172/1758-59, was a Sufi poet and founder of the Müştâkıyye branch of the Qadiri order. He died in 1247/1831-32 in an attack at Muş while travelling back from Istanbul and was buried in central Muş; his tomb in the Minare neighbourhood is open to visitors.
