Elti Hatun was a noblewoman of the 13th-century Seljuk–Mengücekli period. An octagonal stone tomb (kümbet) with a pyramidal cap was built in her name in central Mazgirt in 650 AH / 1252 CE. The popular claim that she was the sister of Uzun Hasan is rejected by historians due to the ~200-year gap. The tomb holds three graves and remains open to visitors.
