According to DİA he settled in the village of Dahbid near Samarkand and died there on 21 Muharram 949 (7 May 1542); Iranica (DAHBĪDĪYA) records that he was buried at Dahbid, about 11 km from Samarkand, beneath the tree under which he liked to sit in his lifetime, and that the shrine was first built in 1028/1619 by Yalangtush Bi. Died 949 H/1542.
