A Chishti shaykh born in Shiraz (d. 771/1369). He reached Delhi via Mecca and settled in the Daulatabad-Khuldabad region; as chief khalifa of Burhan al-Din Gharib he received khilafat in 737/1336 (Wikipedia, "Zayn al-Din Shirazi"; New Age Islam). His mausoleum at Khuldabad faces that of Burhan al-Din Gharib; his disciple Malik Raja, credited as founder of the Faruqi dynasty of Khandesh, attests to his influence. Note: the Gregorian death year is given as 1369 or 1370 (a calendar-conversion difference); no dedicated TDV article exists. No pin is provided because the tomb coordinate rests on a single source.
