A 14th-century Chishti shaykh (d. 758/1357); a senior khalifa of Nizamuddin Awliya, he bore the title "Aina-e-Hind" (Mirror of India) (Wikipedia; TDV Encyclopedia of Islam, "Çiştiyye"). After his master's death he settled in the Bengal capitals of Gaur and Pandua; he is regarded as the key conduit for the spread of the Chishtiyya in Bengal, with Alaul Huq as his chief disciple (Banglapedia). His tomb at Sadullapur near Malda (Pirana Pir Dargah) holds an annual urs at Eid al-Fitr.
