One of the leading khalifas of Hacı Bektâş-ı Velî, estimated to have lived c. 1250-1350. Sent by Hacı Bektâş to western Anatolia, he was a warrior-dervish active in the Turkification and Islamization of Tavas and its region. His tomb stands in the cemetery of Tekke village in Tavas and is among the most visited shrines in Denizli.
