Kütüklü Baba was a Bektashi dervish who served under the raider-commander Gazi Evrenos Bey during the conquest of Western Thrace. He is traditionally credited with founding a tekke near present-day Selino in the Xanthi region; the structure dates to the late 14th-early 15th century. The surviving monument comprises a square-plan cut-stone lodge and an octagonal-plan domed tomb. Muslims venerate it as his tomb, while local Christians have used the eastern part as a chapel dedicated to Saint George, making it a shared shrine. No precise death date is recorded (15th-16th century). (Sources: Wikipedia 'Kütüklü Baba Tekke'; Wikidata Q12885275; Kültür Envanteri)
