Otman Baba (c. 1378–1478) was a heterodox Kalenderi-Bektashi dervish-saint who wandered the Ottoman lands and gained a large following in Bulgaria after c. 1445. His life is known chiefly from the hagiography Vilâyetname-i Otman Baba, written by his disciple Küçük Abdal; he was regarded as the kutb al-aktab of his era, with Akyazılı Baba as his successor. His domed ashlar türbe, now a museum, stands at Teketo village near Haskovo; note: TDV İslam Ansiklopedisi places his tomb at his lodge in Varna (1506), but the surviving geolocated monument is at Teketo.
