A Halveti sheikh born near Niğde (Ortaköy), one of the five renowned successors of Yahya-yı Şirvani. After leaving İskilip he settled in Amasya, founding a lodge and devoting himself to worship and learning. He died in Amasya in 902/1496 and is buried within the Mehmed Pasha Complex (mosque/imaret).
