A Sufi of the Rifa'i order, held to have played a role in spreading Rifa'i Sufism in Anatolia. According to tradition he was active in the Ladik (Samsun) region, was martyred there, and was buried in Ladik per his will. His tomb stands in the Koga neighborhood of central Ladik; the square-plan cut-stone-and-brick structure contains seven sarcophagi.
