Sayyid Burhan al-Din Muhaqqiq of Tirmidh

A successor of Baha al-Din Walad (the father of Mawlana Rumi) and Mawlana’s first spiritual guide. After Baha al-Din’s death he came to Konya to train Mawlana, then settled in Kayseri where he died (c. 1241).
