An Edirne-born Mevlevî sheikh and leading divan poet of the Sebk-i Hindî style (real name Ahmed). Appointed sheikh of the Edirne (Muradiye) Mevlevîhâne in 1081/1670, he restored the lodge and died in office in 1085/1674. He was buried in the Muradiye Mosque cemetery; in 1925 the graves in the türbe were transferred to the same mosque's cemetery.
