Abu Jabir Abdullah ibn Amr ibn Haram al-Ansari al-Salami was a leading Companion of the Banu Salama tribe of Medina and the father of the celebrated hadith narrator Jabir ibn Abdullah. He was among the seventy who represented their tribe at the Second Pledge of Aqaba (alongside al-Bara ibn Ma'rur) and fought at Badr.
