Şeyh Ali Baba, a saint of the local Sufi tradition, is buried in the tomb on Hasan Dede Street in the Akçasu quarter of Safranbolu. His son Şeyh Hasan Dede is also interred there; the structure dates to 1871-1872 and is a place of pilgrimage. (Sources: Evliyalar.net – Karabük Saints; Wikimapia.)
