The maqam attributed to the prophet Shith (Seth), son of Adam, is within the al-Nabi Shith Mosque in Mosul. The 17th-century structure was renovated in 1815-16 by Ahmad Pasha al-Jalili, destroyed by ISIS on 24 July 2014, and rebuilt and reopened c. 2024.
