Founder and first Sultan of the Banten Sultanate (r. c. 1552–1570). Son of Sunan Gunung Jati of the Wali Songo, he is known as the figure who spread Islam to Banten, extending its influence to Lampung and making Banten a major pepper port (en.wikipedia, "Maulana Hasanuddin of Banten"; Wikidata Q3384157).
