A prominent frontier lord (uc beyi) under Murad II and Mehmed II and conqueror of the Morea, known for his campaigns and building works in Thessaly and the Morea. He built a mosque, imaret and tomb in Kirikkavak village near Uzunkopru, Edirne, where he was buried after his death in 1456.
