Sheikh Seyyid Nasrullah Efendi (Hacı Baba) is remembered as a dervish-sheikh sent to Karadeniz Ereğli in the early Ottoman period who aided the region's Islamization; regarded as patron of Black Sea seafarers, his name appears in Katib Çelebi's Cihannüma. His tomb, the Hacı Baba Tomb, is in the Göztepe locality of the Müftü quarter of Karadeniz Ereğli. (Sources: Ereğli local-history columns; Katib Çelebi, Cihannüma.)
