Seyyid Sheikh Ahmet was a Naqshbandi-Khalidi Sufi born in 1815 in Göltepesi (Çan) village, Bingöl. He studied at the madrasa of Sheikh Ali Septî al-Palawî and received ijaza in the Naqshbandi order, training many disciples. He died around 1884/1885.
