The dervish/baba figure who gives his name to the Karakurt Complex (thermal bath, lodge, mosque and tomb) on the slope of Emirburnu in Karalar village, about 15-17 km west of central Kırşehir; the complex dates to the 13th-14th century and the tomb (Kalender Baba dome) to the late 15th century.
