A Sufi venerated as the spiritual patron of Colombo (Cinnamon Gardens / Colombo 7), known among Sri Lankan Muslims by the title 'Quthubus Saylan' (Qutb of Ceylon) and traced to the Siddiqi lineage. His grave was uncovered around 1802 and the Dewatagaha Mosque was built over it in the 1820s.
