Ahmed Âmiş Efendi of Tirnova was born in 1807 in Tırnova, Bulgaria, and after completing his studies entered the path of Sufism. He became known as a Melami-minded guide belonging to the Kusadaviyye-Ibrahimiyye branch of the Sabaniyye order.
