Pîr Emir Sultan, whose real name was Mehmed, is among the saints of Anatolia; his place and year of birth, as well as his place and year of death, are unknown. Coming from the region of Bukhara, he settled in Bursa in 1495 (AH 900) and declared that he was a relative of Emir Sultan.
