Counted among the saints who came from Khorasan to spread Islam in Anatolia; though his exact dates are unknown, he is thought to have lived in the 13th century. His tomb lies in the Tekke quarter of Sarayköy, originally formed of two joined octagonal chambers, known for its centuries-old cypresses; restored to its original form in 2012.
